This agreement states that the purpose of the collaboration is "the promotion of common development of actions aimed at the digital restoration, commemoration and promotion of democratic memory of Catalonia and the dissemination of the Democratic Memorial and unification in one place the various Democratic Memorial Websites.
Technically, and in particular, fossesirepressio.cat new website developed with the support of the UOC is a project carried out entirely with software free in a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP), which consists basically of two parts: Web frontend and backend administration. The Frontend Web site is public, visible on the internet: a website using XHTML and CSS accessibility techniques, it is multilingual (English, Catalan, English and French) and allows a simple search and complex content.
One advantage of the website is fully integrated with Google Maps, which provides more visual geolocation layer to locate the graves in the territory. We also have TagClouds (labels) to display the province with more graves. Each tab pit has its own URL, so that favors indexing by search engines.
